Terms of service.

Deliberately short and readable. These terms cover the essentials of using Skilign during early access.

The service.

Skilign is a placement readiness platform for colleges, TPOs, students and employers. Institutions are onboarded on request; each institution administers its own staff and student accounts.

Pricing.

Skilign is free for institutions during early access. When paid plans are introduced, existing early-access institutions will be notified in advance and given preferential pricing.

Accounts and responsibility.

Institutions are responsible for the accounts they create and the people they give them to. Keep credentials safe, assign appropriate roles, and tell us promptly if an account is compromised.

Acceptable use.

Use Skilign for genuine education and placement activity. Don't attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the platform, and don't upload content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights.

Your content.

Assessments, courses, submissions and reports created through the platform belong to the institution that made them. The Skilign platform itself — software, design and branding — remains ours.

Availability and liability.

During early access the service is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it available and secure, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skilign is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Changes.

These terms may change as the product matures. We will publish updates on this page; continued use after a change means acceptance of the updated terms.
